Sleep Awake

I have been suspecting that my reality, in a scientific sense, starts when I fall asleep. This could explain why I speak much more in my “sleep” than I do in my “awake”. In the morning hours, I’ll sometimes recall “dreaming” about taking a walk with so-and-so or discussing such-and-such. The overall surreality of dream-state versus awake-state is neck and neck so, really, it could go either way. How can one awaken distinctly and inexplicably happy or sad or anxious or excited if there wasn’t a true manifestation? Yes, I don’t remember much about my dream-state when I’m awake but then again, I doubt I remember much about my awake-state when I dream.

I wonder if I operate a blog in dreamland. Do I blog about terribly different things? I kind of feel like my dream reality is much more interesting than my awake one. I recall living in a metropolis, taking weekend trips to the country, being able to levitate standing up and needing a blood transfusion. Wow, what am I?
